In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, La Leche League groups all over the USA may be hosting local events each year in August. Get out and have fun with them in support of breastfeeding! Dates, times, and locations will be posted below.
"Live, Love, Latch! is a National Breastfeeding Month celebration presented by La Leche League USA and hosted by LLL Groups throughout the country.
National Breastfeeding Month is August 1-31.
Live, Love, Latch! events are designed to not only celebrate breastfeeding and human lactation, but to also highlight community support. All in attendance at a Live, Love, Latch! event will be counted as supporters of nursing in their local community and beyond.
Each year, we will aim to break the previous year's record for number of those who came out in a show of support. Anyone who attends will be counted - whether nursing their babies or not. This way, the whole family gets counted as important to the nursing dyad's relationship!
This celebration provides an opportunity to educate family, friends, healthcare providers and other community members about how they can support nursing while emphasizing the value of the support network behind every nursing dyad."
