La Leche League of Comanche County
La Leche League of Comanche County serves Lawton and the surrounding area. Information about the meetings is included here, but if you are seeking the Group in other sources, the name is La Leche League of Comanche County. All women interested in breastfeeding are invited to attend the meetings for mother-to-mother support and to share their breastfeeding and mothering joys and concerns. Meetings offer mother-to-mother support for breastfeeding mothers and cover a variety of issues, including surviving the early postpartum weeks, managing milk supply, and coping with latch issues, yeast infections (thrush), mastitis, tongue tie/lip tie, and working and breastfeeding, and much more.
Leaders are trained and accredited by La Leche League International and provide individual support to help mothers overcome many of the early challenges of breastfeeding as well as those that may arise later on the breastfeeding journey.
For information about meetings, to confirm a meeting, or for breastfeeding assistance, please contact the Leader on the left.
